Secure and Simple to Use

The Q-MAC QM4017M HF Digital Encryption Handset provides high grade security for voice communications. The encryption unit is deployed in a Military Standard Telephone Handset commonly supplied with tactical radio transceivers. The unique design combines an encryption module, a vocoder and a modem in a single compact handset.

The Q-MAC QM4017M handset is designed specifically for tactical use and has been field proven with tens of thousands of units supplied to defence and law enforcement users world wide. It is equally suitable for portable tactical use and base station applications.

The electronics are built in to the industry standard H250 handset shell. A high quality acoustic transducer with environmental noise suppression enhances the performance and make the handset reliable for heavy duty use.

The Q-MAC QM4017M has been optimised for operation using the Q-MAC HF-90M HF SSB transceiver. Latest generation modems and vocoders have been designed to allow excellent voice quality even over bad signal conditions.

The firmware base architecture reduces risk of obsolescence and configuration changes are simple with optical connection using software on a PC or portable computer.
