- Easy to install: CODAN HF SSB transceivers are the smallest and easiest to install. Mobile transceivers feature a small control head/handset for simple installation, depending on the model.
- Auto tuning: CODAN has designed an automatic tuning whip antenna to work with the full range of mobile transceivers. The mobile antenna is designed to withstand severe environmental conditions and vibration. It will tune all frequencies within seconds.
With HF voice radio you can:
- interface to the telephone network
- interface to the VHF or UHF network
- send pager messages
- integrate vehicle tracking and fleet management using a global positioning tracking system
- include voice encryption for total privacy
- upgrade to data and email transmissions using Codan modems

Option P (Phone Call) – Enables telephone calls to be made from base stations equipped with a telephone interconnect.
CODAN CALM Option – Fully compatible with FED-STD-1045 ALE capabilities and enhanced with Codan Automated Link Management (CALM). Includes facilities for Selective Calls, All Calls, Phone Calls, Text Messaging and GPS Position Calls.
CODAN Option Voice Encryptor – High grade Voice Encryptor Module for NGT series Transceivers. Provides high grade voice security with exceptional recovered audio quality.
Option D – A remote capability where diagnostic information, such as signal strength, battery voltage, output power, temperature and antenna health can be retrieved from a remote station.
NVIS Kit – Suits the 9350 Automatic Tuning Whip Antenna for improved short range (0–500 km) near vertical incidence sky wave communications over frequency range 2–12 MHz.
